Media Info and Registration

All Media registration is now CLOSED.

With the contest happening in a few days, we've accepted all the applications we can for media passes, with the exception of local newspapers, and local news, etc. If you haven't heard back from us yet, you will in the next day or two.

All media (local news, sports, newspapers etc):
Must go through our Media Liaison, Chris Young. You can email chris@metrobmxjam.com, or phone (604) 787-2178. Phoning is the best option right now because of the timeline.

Media Entrance:
All media must enter through door #40 (by the loading docks), at the Northwest end of Hall A.

There is a limited amount of media passes given out.
We put a very tight cap on how much media we will allow on the contest floor. We put the riders first when it comes to this. First and foremost we don't want them getting hurt; and second, we don't want media in the way during somebody's run. It will be BMX media on the floor only, unless special clearance has been granted.

You must be part of a legitimate media organization to get a media pass – running a (small) website or 'zine is not considered 'legitimate media'. No 'personal filming' will be permitted on the contest floors at any time.
