Directions
to the contest site:
Coming from the airport:
The National Trade Centre is
about 30-45 minutes south of Lester B. Pearson International
Airport (YYZ) – so a cab is going be expensive. Leaving the airport, head
South on HWY 427 which eventually curves to the left and becomes the Gardner
Expressway. The C.N.E. grounds are sandwiched between the Gardner Expressway
and Lake Shore Boulevard, just beside Lake Ontario. It's right downtown, so you'll
see both the Skydome and the CN Tower. If you pass the Skydome, you've gone too
far.
Head to the most East end of the
fairgrounds (closest to downtown), you'll see the main gates
at the entrance, the Queen Elizabeth gates. The National
Trade Centre is a fairly modern looking building on your
right hand side, made of green glass (you can't miss it).
The Ricoh Coliseum is right behind the trade centre.
There are also bus shuttle services
from the airport to the downtown hotel district for around
$10 to $15 CAD.
Taking Local Transit:
Getting to the Ricoh Coliseum
by local transit is easy. There's a new 'Go Train' station
at the Coliseum – it drops
you feet away from the entrance.
Other Local Transit:
Take subway to Bathurst Station, then a street car south
on Bathurst to the Queen Elizabeth gates entrance.
