ERA is the ultimate experience in BMX racing for riders and fans alike. The ERA race will bring together the world’s best BMX riders in the Elite class of the sport, battling it out for an unprecedented $30,000 (CDN) purse.
The ERA Kingston Cup will be decided on an entirely new and innovative track, designed by Jay Miron (6-time World BMX Freestyle Champion) in collaboration with Tom Ritzenthaler (Olympic track builder). "The goal with the new ERA race will be to do for racing what Metro did for street contests and what Elevation did for dirt jumping.” said Jay Miron creator of Metro BMX Jam, Elevation and now, the ERA race. "We're going to raise the bar," added Miron.
Clipless pedals are strictly prohibited. All ERA races are run on flat pedals...The way it was meant to be.
Stay tuned as details unfold and plan to visit us at Woodbine Park in Kingston, Ontario, Canada September 5-6 for some amazing racing.
