A lot of great riding went down during the second round of Metro Jam qualifying at Iceland skatepark in Mississauga. There was a bit of a scare with rain near the end of the day, but we managed to get through the entire day in good time. Here is how the finals shaped up…

So what started off as a great contest was cut just short of finishing by some rain. With one more group to run through in Expert, Mother Nature just wasn’t having it and let loose. That being said, we’re going to be back at Chinguacousy Skatepark in Brampton tomorrow, July 13 at 10:00 am. We’re going to run the last group consisting of Jamie Burke, Greg McMillan, Lee Carter, and Mike Dionne, do some demos and hand out the prizes.

The weather reports have been all over the place lately, so in case anything happens, we will be holding tomorrow’s qualifying contest in Brampton on Sunday the 13th. But otherwise, be ready to ride tomorrow!

The first of the amateur qualifying stops is set to go down in two days on July 12 at Chinguacousy Skatepark in Brampton, Ontario. Registration will be held at the park and will start at 9:00 am and will run until 11:30 am. Entry fee for both beginner and expert divisions is $30. The park is located at…

Most of the park will be off-limits until 11:30 due to summer programs, but there will be an area for riders to warm up on during registration. There will also be a snack-bar located near the park that will be selling water, hot dogs, and other snacks over the course of the day.
